A huge thank you to Polesden Lacey and Paul Barker, admin at Fetcham Freebay, who helped to distribute over 1,000 chocolate Easter Eggs to the local community including the children and staff at Polesden Lacey Playschool.
Rather than waste the leftover eggs from their Easter Trails, the National Trust Polesden Lacey donated them to the local community, cutting down on food waste and providing a lovely treat for our children and staff, after what has been a difficult year.
Paul via his Fetcham Freebay Facebook Group, requested for anyone working or volunteering for local schools, preschools, children's organisations, NHS, emergency services or charities who could distribute the eggs amongst their children or staff.
We were more than happy to collect some eggs on behalf of the Playschool and are so lucky to be part of such a thoughtful and caring community.
Thank you!
